A spectacular Reservoir View. Situated in the heart of our animals Sanctuary in the National Park. Remote, Rural location. Perfect for hikers, Animal lovers, Romantic getaway. Endless Walks from the door. Ensuite shower room inside the pod. There is no going outside to use the toilet. Fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Outside, private decking area with further cooking facilities. Note:- Hot Tub and Animal experiences are Optional Extras. PLEASE READ 'things to note” for info. The pod is an ensuite room with a private decking area. Inside The pod itself is only tiny but has everything you will need. A comfortable double bed with bedding and towels include. The little Kitchenette has a Fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, BBQ tools, frying pan, saucepan, plates and cutlery. Shower room has an electric shower, toilet and sink. HEATING - There is a thermostatically controlled heater in both the bedroom and a heated towel rail in the ensuite, so this little pod gets nice and toasty even in the heart of winter. There is also an electric blanket in the winter months. Outside Your own private gas BBQ, dinning area, camp fire with cooking tri pod. All with a reservoir view. Surrounded by alpacas and miniature horses, makes Far From a rare find. Optional extras Private Hot tub hire £45 a day - Animal/ Sanctuary Experiences aimed at adults £55 for two people. We had a lovely stay in the Honey bee pod! Such beautiful views from the hut and balcony, and easily accessible walking routes close by and further afield. The hut was so comfortable and kitted out very well especially for its size! Felicity is a brilliant host and was very quick to respond and help with any questions we had. There was a book provided in the pod with lots of recommendations for walks, restaurants, and days out to do. Also easy to get to the Brecon Beacons, we decided to walk pen-y-fan one day and it was very close! We loved our stay and will definitely be back
Lovely couple of nights stay in the Honey Bee Pod. Views were gorgeous and Felicity was very welcoming. The pod was cosy and clean. Loved waking up watching the Alpacas roam around the field and meeting the rest of the animals. Even with the changeable weather we managed a couple of relaxing hours in the hot tub. Lovely walks and local pub close by, enjoyed Brecon Mountain Railway. Beautiful and would highly recommend!
Would 100% recommend, Lovely peaceful area, very lovely views and walks nearby. The place was spotless and the pod was so cosy and warm everything you need for a few nights. The animal experience was amazing would totally recommend, so worth doing if you’re visiting! Felicity was so helpful and welcoming and recommended nearby things to do. Would visit again!
Had a wonderful getaway at the honeybee pod! Felicity's communication was excellent, the location is so gorgeous and peaceful, and even with some grim weather we were so warm and cozy in the pod (and the delightful hot tub). Hoping to come back again soon!
Great holiday despite rain and snow! Very cosy pod, heated and super clean. Everything you need. Beautiful view. Great for walking holidays, very peaceful. Hosts are very welcoming. Make sure to bring food as its a short drive to any restaurants! Otherwise you're all set with a microwave, BBQ, toaster and mini fridge. Lovely to see the animals when you wake up. Hot tub is a very nice extra

I live on my 53 acre farm in the heart of the rural Brecon Beacons. It is remote and tranquil spot that is home to my animal sanctuary. Far From retreat was set up to fund the rescued animal (you can follow us online) i do not take a wage, the money goes to funding the animals. I very much enjoy welcoming guests to the farm. Peoples reaction of the reservoir view and the mountain air, never fails to make me smile. I also love leading the animal experiences. Inviting guests behind the scenes to really see what Far From is about is an absolute pleasure. Watching the guests and animals interact with each other is a reminder to me on how far each animal has come since their arrival. It is a joy to watch. Far From is not only my home but my love and my passion and I look forward to welcoming you to my little haven, Far From.
