We had an incredible stay at Sharon’s lodge. It was exactly like the pictures, extremely clean and tidy, well thought out and a lovely hamper on arrival. The location is perfect for walkers, so many great routes on your doorstep and beautiful scenic views from each window of the lodge. We took our baby to the swimming pool on site and it was spotless, the women on reception were super helpful and polite too. Sharon made sure we had everything we needed and was always on hand for any questions. The bed was really comfy and the lodge felt super cosy. Sharon also provided us with a cot and high chair for our baby at no extra cost. Couldn’t recommend enough, we can’t wait to come back!
We have just come back from a lovely stay at this lodge. We are a family with 2 kids aged 10 and 14. The lodge is gorgeous, really clean and well presented with lots of lovely extras like slippers, toiletries and snacks thrown in. It’s about a 5min walk to the entertainment area, where there is a swimming pool, mini golf, arcade and a bar with evening entertainment. However where the lodge is located is quiet and has lovely views out to the back of it. The nespresso coffee machine was a lovely treat in the morning and the beds were really comfortable. Overall a fab stay.
I don’t usually write reviews however we loved this lodge, it was a treat for our anniversary, it was amazing - uninterrupted and so peaceful and quiet The bed was so Comfy and we slept great. You can hear the noise of nature and birds outside which we loved. You can feel your body unwind. The host was accommodating and kind. The Cabin had everything you needed all in 1 place. There was a lovely welcome basket on arrival. We felt completely secure and alone at the same time! This hideaway is situated up at the quiet end amongst all the trees. It also has great views of the countryside, and you can see a view of Beacon Fell country park out of the window. There of lots of nice walks in the surrounding area aswell. Its full of life if you choose to venture out, and there’s is a Pool near by, that you can use if you want The Host went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and definitely worth the money. Thank you
