What a lovely place! Very well kept and excellent location, and Rebecca was a very communicative and responsive host. When I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the light switch she responded immediately even though it was late! The location is excellent, right on darling street with all of Balmain at your fingertips. Clean kitchen and they left some cute soda water and kombucha for us which was appreciated! The bedrooms have fans (but not heaters) and the living room is heated. Some things to note if you’re a light sleeper- the main bedroom gets light through the windows in the morning and you can hear street noise (it’s not loud it’s just like, a car driving through or something). If you bring ear plugs and a sleeping mask you’ll be fine. Also the floor boards do creak very loudly. The balcony is lovely, gorgeous view of the city. But should note, next door neighbours can see through and will pass by often and can see in on their way in and out. Also many metal stairs to get up!

Located on beautiful Darling Street and very well located with easy ferry and bus access to the city Centre. Rebecca is a great host! We loved the snacks and milk that was left for us on arrival. Thank you again Rebecca for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely fantastic Airbnb. Probably one of the best we have stayed in. Felt like a real home not a commercial operation. Set in one of our favourite locations. So many great cafes, pubs and places to eat. Will definitely be back to stay

Balmain is an upscale neighbourhood with a trendy restaurant scene. Relaxed pubs and cafes occupy Victorian buildings on Darling Street, alongside boutique stores, artisan bakeries and happening eateries. The area is filled with restored sandstone workers’ cottages lining the leafy streets. Stalls at Saturday’s Orange Grove Markets sell organic food, crafts and fashion. It is home to some of Sydney's best parks, walks and views.
The apartment is located across the road from the bus stop that takes you into the city. There are also options to catch ferries and a 45/60 minute walk would take you into the city. There is no parking on site however there is free street parking readily available.

We are very excited to rent out our apartment so that guests can enjoy its convenient location in Balmain with great Sydney city views. We love traveling, time spent with our families and spending our weekends outdoors. Our holidays are usually packed with hiking, eating and exploring as much off the beaten track as possible.
