Breathtaking scenery, privacy and lots of room to relax and unwind or play lawn games after you come back from a lowtide beach walk exploring the red cliffs or kayaking with the seals. Or just watch the tide come in from the waterfront property and enjoy the spectacular view from every window. Canoe Cove Beach has balmy water and a protected bay that faces south. Our cottage is on 9 acres and is not in a subdivision. There is easy access to beach and a park across the bay for children. Guests love our cottage because it is so quiet after a day of sighseeing. Although we are new to the AirBnB platform,we have been welcoming guests for over 10 years and our reviews are all ***** 5 stars.

Canoe Cove Beach is located in Lloyd Inman Memorial Park on the South Shore of PEI along the balmy water of the Northumberland Straight. It’s a perfect spot to take the kids and beach chairs for the day to walk the red shore or explore the bright red cliffs. This picturesque beach offers everything a family needs for a day at the beach: an on-site canteen, playground, shower facilities, picnic areas and breathtaking scenery. Canoe cove was once the place where Mi’kmaq (PEI First Nations people) brought British solders ashore by canoe, hence the name. Unlike the North Shore beaches where the dunes face the open ocean, Canoe Cove’s protected bay will cut down on the breezes that blow sand on your towel. This beach is unsupervised.
If you have bikes bring them along. Lots of quiet country red clay roads to explore by foot.

I am a retired high school teacher and my husband is a retired banker. We love to travel and have not been to a place we would not return to. We have lived in peaceful Prince Edward Island for 33 years and love all of the maritimes. We are friendly and outgoing and very low maintenance. We just need a clean room and a comfortable bed which is what we make sure our guests have at our cottage that we rent in Canoe Cove PEI.
