今回、reinforest world music festivalのために7月に4日間滞在しました。熱帯雨林とビーチに囲まれた小さな村の広々とした一軒家（village house）です。空気は爽やかで夜はエアコンをつけなくても快適でした。村には穏やかな空気が流れていて朝の散歩が最高です。快適に過ごすために必要な設備は揃っていますが、民泊なので細やかなアメニティは自分で用意するか、事前にホストに有無を訪ねてください。ホストはとても親切な方で、観光地へのアクセスや美味しいレストランを教えてくれます。近くには素晴らしいシーフードレストランがあります。

Very near Damai Central, Sarawak Cultural Village and Bako National Park. Good seafood restaurants in nearby Kampung Buntal. Not far from city center.

We stayed at Suhaili´s place for 3 nights during the Rainsforest World Music Festival. Suhaili is a fantastic host! When we arrived the day before the festival, he drove us to a foodcourt for eating, and showed us the location of the festival. The next day he came back again to drive to the festival. When we woke up the following day, there was breakfast and fresh mangoes from the garden outside our door. So 6 stars to the host. The sleeping and living rooms are nice, and there is a comfortable climate in the house. The kitchen and the bathroom would benefit from an upgrade. You will need a car (or taxi) to get around. There are no restaurants nearby, some small shops quite close, and very nice people in the village. We spend the days at the festival (really good), I am not sure what else to do - ask Suhaili :)
