Our recent stay at Mountain View Ranch in the Midlands was pure bliss. Nestled amongst mountains, this cozy lodge offered everything we needed for a perfect mountain escape. The lodge itself was incredibly charming. The interior was warm and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating and a fireplace that provided the perfect ambiance for chilly evenings. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. The staff is very friendly and the whole process was smooth from beginning to end. Thank you, we will be back!

Mountain ranch is excellent for a large group. Very well designed with enough bathrooms. The access onto the stoep from every room is a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay there. View of the mountains superb and the younger members of the family really enjoyed the hot tub!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain View ranch. The managers Kirstin and Royce looked after us really well and the farm more than lived up to expectations. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Mountain View. Beautiful location and both grownups and kids loved it. Great for riding bikes, paddling in the river, and playing in the lovely big garden. It is more remote than we expected - an hour’s drive from Nottingham Road in the direction of the Drakensburg. Brilliant if you are looking for a tranquil holiday and good outdoors time for the kids. Not a good option if you are wanting to visit the wineries, coffee shops and similar in and around Nottingham Road and surrounds.
