M&K Traditional house is located in the heart of Theologos (or Tholos), a charming village located about 22 km south of Rhodes town. It is a pretty colorful village with tall shuttered buildings and narrow streets, where the traditional way of life is still widely practiced, also featuring an excellent beach! An assortment of shops, taverns, bars and restaurants can be found around the village. Its exquisite beach can sometimes be breezy, but is an ideal place for windsurfers.
The traditional way of life is still widely practiced in the village itself, and guests should expect a very warm welcome from the friendly people living there. Guests should not omit visiting the picturesque church of Agios Spiridonas, with its lovely whitewashed belfry. The old centre of Tholos is built in traditional Rhodian style. With tall shuttered buildings and narrow streets, Tholos (Theologos) village in Rhodes is a delight to wander through.
The house is located only 20 minutes walking away for wonderful Theologos Beach. This lovely beach expands for 10 km and offers all the facilities (umbrellas, sundecks). The crystal clear waters and the greenery landscape create a magnificent environment for the visitors of all ages. There are a few taverns around the beach that serve delicious food. The beach is really spacious and also due to the quiet nature of the resort itself, the beach is peaceful and less busy.
Theologos village is located about 20km from Rhodes city. The access to Rhodes City from the village is quite easy while there are frequent bus routes from the town.
Approximately five kilometers south east from the village of Theologos lies the Valley of the Butterflies - also known as Butterfly Valley. This is one of the most attractive destinations on the island.
