THE SWEETENED APARTMENT (Unit A - Upper level) Sweet Tea Retreats is sure to put a smile on your face and everyone will know you are as happy as a short pig in a deep mud waller. If your plans are to just hang out for the weekend then the Sweet Tea Retreats is your pathway to relaxation at its best. The living room in the Sweetened apartment will brighten your day with morning sunlight that comes in through the wall of windows and sliding glass door that fills the length of the room. Across the cove provides nice privacy with mountain and expansive waterfront views of the peaceful cove. The living room has comfortable coastal furniture with sofa and two lounge chairs a 70” smart TV with sound bar. Open and airy brand new renovated kitchen, coastal distressed dining table with four driftwood dining chairs. Off the hallway is a cozy sitting room with a sofa for reading a book or quiet space to work. The sitting room also has a 70” smart TV. At the end of the hall is the master bedroom suite features a queen size plush mattress with coastal themed bedding and a in-suite bathroom with shower over tub shower. The second bedroom is located across the hall has a queen size plush mattress, bathing suit themed bedding, off the hallway is a full size bathroom with a stall shower, laundry closet with full size LG stacking washer and dryer. Step outside on the upper deck to get a glimpse al fresco dining at its best, umbrella table that seats four guests and a two-person hot tub. Down yonder is a view of the outlet channel that leads to the marina. THE UN-SWEETENED APARTMENT (Unit B - Lower level) We take pride in providing our guests with an over the top experience. This apartment suite is ideal for couples or guests with mobility issues as the walkway from the driveway is flat and only one stair to come inside. Once you step through the front door you will be greeted by our fun bicycle theme décor, a bicycle dining table with four bicycle chain and pedal bar stools. Over the top freshly brewed fully remodeled kitchen stocked with everything a gourmet cook might need. The alcove retreat area located at the back of the apartment suite has two comfortable upholstered rocking chairs with matching ottomans. For guests working from home, the apartment has a full size writing desk, upholstered desk chair and office supplies. To add maximum comfort to the space, enjoy a 42” smart television that is swivel mount. The master bedroom suite has lovely views of the lake features a king size plush mattress with coastal themed bedding and a in-suite bathroom with stall shower. The second bedroom is located in the back of the apartment features a queen size plush mattress, bicycle themed bedding an in-suite bathroom with shower over tub, laundry closet with stacking washer and dryer. Enjoy sipping iced tea out on the patio in the rocking chairs. A six-person hot tub is located on the patio area, gentle slop down to the fire pit area with seating for five and boat dock. AMENITIES Sweet Tea Retreats was inspired by a tall refreshing jar of sweet tea brewed slower than molasses. True to our name each apartment has a vintage tea maker along with a cabinet chalk full of Cold Brewed and Southern Sweet Teas to choose from. It about to get SWEETER, Sweet Tea Retreats has a wonderful paved driveway that has been well thought out. The top of the driveway has a boat parking space making storing a boat trailer a breeze. At the mid point of the driveway is the parking space that is steps away from entry to the Sweetened upper level apartment. At the bottom of the driveway is a large flat parking area that leads to the entry to the Un-Sweetened lower level apartment. This level parking area also serves as a wonderful outdoor area perfect for playing outdoor games. Outdoor Games: Pickle ball, corn toss and jumbo size outdoor games. Inside the deck box you will find Cornhole, Ping Party Pack, Bottle Bash flying disc game, lawn darts, ring toss, flick in chicken, backyard jumbo size Kubb, Giant wooden Dice and wooden Dominoes. Indoor Board Games: Lots of Board Games catering to adults and teens in each apartment. Boat Dock/ Kayaks/Paddle Boat: Sweeter than joy itself are all of the lakeside amenities available to our guests: Covered dock with boat slip and swim ladder. As Christopher Smart would say “ There is nothing sweeter than peace when at rest for there is nothing brisker than life when in motion” enjoy the quite moments of life out on the lake with the paddle boat, two single kayaks, and Hobie Mirage Oasis double tandem kayak with pedals. We provide life jackets in various sizes along with oars for the kayaks. Fire pit/Hot Tubs: The air of summer is always sweeter while enjoying campfire smores out in the Fire pit area located down near the lake. We reckon that in order to provide an over the top experience for guests that we needed to sweeten the teapot a bit with each apartment suite having its own hot tub.. The pathway from the upper level down to the 6-person hot tub has a gentle slop the patio is covered making for year round enjoyment. On the upper deck of the Sweetened apartment is a 2-person hot tub. Covered Grilling Area: Features a Weber gas grill and Green Egg smoker. All beds are made up with pillow toppers, soft linens that include a top sheet and duvet comforter for cooler nights. When you arrive, there will be tourist brochures and welcome letter with more information, like Wi-Fi access code and restaurant recommendations. ****** House Rules****** Dear Prospective Guest, There aren’t too many house rules as we want our guests to come and relax and do not want to get your feathers ruffled with too many rules. Basically, come in and make yourself at home. There’s no such thing as a check-in time that’s too late, so no worries there. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate later checkout times due to enhanced cleaning. Our only requests are please remove your shoes while inside the apartments, follow our hot tub rules requiring showering before use. If your fix ‘in to invite visitors; we unfortunately are not able to accommodate visitors, sorry all the amenities we provide are only for our registered guests. Quiet Hours we need guests to please hush up starting at 11PM until 8AM the next morning to insure our neighbors do not have a hissy fit. Just a couple of simple departure tasks; please leave kitchen neat and tidy if you do not know where kitchen inventory belongs please leave on he counter, please do not strip the sheets off the beds we prefer to do this ourselves, just lay the bedding flat on the bed. Place damp towels on hooks located in each bathroom, turn lights and ceiling fans off, insure hot tub has been turned down to 100 degrees, water is clear and hot tub cover is latched. No loose trash, please bag and place your trash in the trash receptacle assigned to the apartment unit located at the top of the driveway on your way out. Goodness gracious, we want you to thoroughly enjoy Sweet Tea Retreats space and your time in Seneca. We’ll do everything we can to make that happen.
