We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door Tim. Het is een heel bijzonder, vooral groot huis. Een enorme lap grond er omheen waar je ook rustig buiten kon zitten. Het was prima voor twee nachtjes op doorreis Keuken hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt

I don't normally engage in written reviews as everyone's standards are so different but, because of the low star rating I have given I feel an explanation is required to Tim and any others thinking of renting this Airbnb. The building is'extraordinaire' but NOT because of its lovely position or old-world features but due to its dark, very unlived-in, damp aroma with dusty soft furnishings and stained kitchen seat pads along with old, dirty, used kitchen scrubbers and dishcloths! Yes, the toilets were clean as were towels, sheets and T-towels but this did not off-set the grubby feeling we felt when in the property. Luckily we were visiting family so only needed to use it as somewhere to sleep, but that was not our original intention! If it was thoroughly cleaned, trailing electrical cables were secured, soft furnishing including kitchen shelf covers were free from stains and the grass around the place was cut, it could be the interesting and unusual place to stay as advertised!
