Come escape & camp at our secluded, private ranch in Moab! We are surrounded by towering redrock formations on the bank of the Colorado River. This is a popup for only one season so book fast! Enjoy the great outdoors and stunning views just feet from the river! We're in the heart of Moab backcountry so there is plenty of hiking, climbing & adventuring to be had both at our site and nearby! 🏜. Primalresorts .com This is a CAMP SITE ONLY, no bedding or other internal amenities. • You will have to bring your own tent/shelter, bedding & supplies. • The camp site is suitable for two large tents. This is a primitive camp site along the bank of the Colorado River on our secluded and private Ranch in the Moab Backcountry. Guests have access to a shared bathroom facility & common area with firepits and picnic tables. Please Note: • No gathering firewood on site so bring your own or you can purchase some on site. • No electricity or potable water available at the camp site. • For safety, no private fires at your tent. • WiFi is accessible at another location on the ranch in case of emergency. We are a rustic and secluded ranch in the heart of canyon country that is completely OFF-GRID, with the most spectacular views sure to make your stay with us a highlight of the trip. Self Checkin- We often have staff on site but guests are able to find their tent number and settle in on their own.

Great spot! Rich was very communicative and helpful. I didn’t initially realize it was a strip of campsites but they were still nice and secluded. I will say the canvas tents seem to house many insect friends as the tents are up year round. If you are weary of critters, bringing your own tent might be the way to go. The boat ramp was a lovely surprise feature however could use some tending to reach its full potential! Overall fantastic little spot to spend the weekend!
Just was confused as to where to camp when I got there. My spot was taken and had no service to contact anyone.
This happened to be our last resort and I think we ended up getting lucky with finding this place. Would recommended.
This was a beautiful space to camp in Canyonlands national park. It was about 30 minutes away from the main road that runs through Moab, but there were plenty of campsites along the way. You get about 10-15 minutes away from other campsites at this location and the location is beautiful. I will be back!
Gorgeous location. I was stopping through Moab as a halfway point on my road trip and wanted to be able to camp where there weren't a ton of people but also since I was alone I still wanted something with people nearby for safety reasons so I decided to opt for just a spot on this property. I wound up Car camping instead of using the tent that was there, not that there was anything wrong with the tent but it was a pretty decent size and I didnt need that much space haha.The campsites are closer to each other but it really wasn't a problem because there's so nuch foliage separating each one and everyone was very respectful of "quiet hours". Will definitely keep in mind next time I'm in Moab.

Our driveway is through a gorgeous redrock canyon along the Colorado River with spectacular vistas as you pass Corona Arch, Jug Handle Arch and drive along the fabled Shafer Trail which offers backcountry access to the Canyonlands National Park itself.
Access to the private ranch location requires travel on a dirt road, but 4x4 and high-clearance in not needed.
Moab is the ultimate outdoor playground and just 30 minutes away.
You can play all day and escape back to your own peaceful site with your loved ones, nature and the most incredible starry nights.
We offer exciting activities for our guests: Electric Dirt Bike Tours of the area, Kayaks for rent to float the Colorado River as well as Introductory Flight/Training from our private airstrip on the property.
Endless world class off-road, hiking, biking, river rafting, kayaking, paddle boarding, climbing, National Parks and more abounds!
Parking is available in a designated area a few feet from your tent. Access to the private ranch location requires travel on a dirt road, but 4x4 and high-clearance in not needed.
Uber exists here finally but is rather limited outside downtown Moab.
Our property is surrounded by the Bureau of Land Management public lands so bring your hiking boots, your mountain bike and kayak to explore the endless local trails along the Colorado River.
We have a private airstrip here at the ranch and offer instructional flights as intro to flying! Message your Host for more info.
