Welcome to "The Tiny Gearbox" – a charming and newly renovated modern tiny home nestled in the heart of Okmulgee. This adorable retreat derives its name from its unique history, once serving as an office space for an auto mechanic shop. Now, it's been transformed into a cozy haven for travelers passing through or seeking a safe and distinctive getaway, ideal for a romantic getaway or a bonding weekend with dad and son. Sleeping include a full-size bed and a futon-sized sleeping spot! Inside the 250 sq ft Tiny Gearbox, you'll find cleverly designed spaces featuring modern IKEA finishes and a theme inspired by mechanics and gears. The main living area boasts a full-size bed, perfect for a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. A Smart TV is available, connected to WiFi, and ready for you to log in to your favorite streaming services. Need some fresh air? Outside, a large patio deck beckons you to enjoy your morning breakfast or sip coffee while soaking in the fresh air. The fully fenced private yard is perfect for your furry friends to roam freely, while the outdoor amenities, including horseshoes, a picnic table, and a charcoal grill, provide ample opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. The kitchenette comes equipped with everything you need to whip up a quick meal, including a large refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, and electric skillet. While there's no stovetop, you can fire up the outside charcoal grill for a barbecue under the stars. We offer a shared laundry room located on the property, accessible to all guests with keypad entry for security. Stephanie was an excellent host and the tiny home was SUPER cute! The yard space was fabulous for our dogs that were traveling with us!
A very quiet, cute and small Airbnb. A perfect place to rest your head or a weekend getaway. There were little to no issues and Stephanie was very communicative. I thank them and will definitely recommend. Will be coming back soon!
Stephanie was so quick to respond when I checked in at 9pm with a question about the lock. She pivoted quickly and was able to immediately put me in her other property next door The Garage Getaway. The property was freshly remodeled and so nice! Doug came to fix the door first thing in the morning but Stephanie graciously let me stay in the new property which was larger so I didn’t have to move my stuff again. It had everything I needed. The bed was super comfy and it didn’t hurt my back like most mattresses do. Both properties looked clean and fresh with new everything. Great experience. I will definitely stay again with these hosts.

This was a super cute place, perfect for our brief stay in Okmulgee to visit friends. It was extremely clean and modern, and the bed was comfy. We chose this Airbnb mostly for being pet friendly and having space outside to hang out with our pup, and it was great for that!

Hi there! Here is a little about me and why I love Airbnb. I gave up my corporate career in 2018 in pursuit of a healthier lifestyle and to be more present for my daughter, Tia. At the time I was a single mom and finding a way to have more flexibility in my day-to-day was extremely important. To support us, I started renting one private suite out of our home, in a bed and breakfast style via Airbnb. Tia often helped me clean and manage the room. We loved it so much that I ended up renting out a second bedroom suite! We still rent those two original rooms to this day. Doug and I, married in November of 2021. When we merged our households it only made sense for us to add his home to my... I mean our, Airbnb listings, and thus it became The WaHaYa House listing! We first started with what we knew, renting rooms individually, and we have since expanded to renting the entire home as one. Currently we are in the process of adding an addition onto the WaHaYa house and adding a completely new private listing. I also have my Oklahoma real estate license #205806 As a Traveler: Work Hard, Play Hard are the words I live by. Sedona is one of the best vacations I have ever been on. We love hiking and appreciating all of the scenic wonders. We are very clean and spend most of our time out and about exploring and discovering. We like trying new adventures, our most recent was a hot air balloon ride. I would definitely recommend it.
