Nearby golf courses (Saratoga Lake and Saratoga National) and Saratoga Battlefield National Historic Park. 8-minute drive to Lago/550 Waterfront lakeside restaurant and marina to rent boats, go fishing or swimming or just relax in this lake paradise. Two kayaks with oars and life vests are available for guests to use. The main floor includes an en-suite master bedroom with king-sized bed, a guest room with two twin beds, and a second guest room with twin day bed and twin trundle bed. The two main floor guest bedrooms share a bathroom with tub and shower. The finished basement, with natural light includes an en-suite bedroom with king bed. Note the bathroom is finishing construction with completion expected at the end of May 2024 (a real photo will be updated at that time) Things to do when visiting Saratoga Lake: 1) Visit Brown's Beach Brown's Beach is one of the only public swimming spots on Saratoga Lake. It has a shallow launch area and is a great area for learning any type of water sport. Picnic and volleyball areas are available. An ice cream stand has recently opened. 2) Borrow a Kayak from the property or rent one from The Kayak Shak What better way to experience Saratoga Lake during the summer than to paddle around in a Kayak or paddle board? The Kayak Shak also offers tours, community barbecues and bird and nature watching. And if this is your first-time kayaking, The Kayak Shak will show you the ropes! 3) Go Fishing Saratoga Lake boasts one of the best fishing spots in the region. The Lake is excellent for bass fishing and the deepest section of the lake is 96 feet. The Lake is also stocked with over 8 million walleye. The weed beds framing the shoreline are great for anglers fishing northern pike. 4) Take an Afternoon to Golf If you are an avid golfer, The Saratoga Lake Golf Club is a beautiful resort in the heart of the Adirondacks. Play 18 holes overlooking the peaceful Lake or join a tournament. Things to do in Saratoga Springs: 1) Spend a day at the historic Saratoga thoroughbred Race Course or enjoy the harness track and casino. 2) Take in a mineral bath at the Roosevelt Spa and enjoy the grounds in Saratoga State Park. 3) Walk along the Vale of Springs trail in the state park near the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Read the informational markers and taste the mineral water at numerous springs.
