✨Without a doubt, this is the BEST ACCOMMODATION we've EVER experienced! Me encanto el lugar todo exacto como en las fotos y muy amigable el personal el chef Mirko es una estrella en la cosina quedamos encantados con el servicio definitivamente volveremos. 100 % recomendado si buscas un lugar con mucha paz y tranquilidad.
The place is called "El paraíso" and to be honest there is no better adjective for describing the place. It is amazing, the views, the amenities, the food... It is even more beautiful than the pictures, and even with most of the other cabins full you didn't feel like the place was crowded. Me and my partner used the kitchen they have for guests and it is pretty impressive. The breakfasts was basically a feast the Caribbean gods would have. We always finished full and amazed by how tasty it was. With some binoculars they have your can watch the whales if it's the season. The shower in my cabin was just an experience. Worth every penny!
My husband & I, along with 2 sons and their partners had a delightful stay. It is truly idyllic. All the staff go above and beyond. We had one issue arise and it was dealt with immediately. If you are planning on staying here you should know that this truly is an ecolodge. You are immersed in nature here. For example, everything is open air. Sounds of nearby animal life are abundant. Water pressure & temperature may not be what you are used to at home. That being said, we were delighted to spend a week in paradise! Please note that the area operates almost entirely on a cash basis. Don’t plan on getting by with credit cards!

We are a couple of veterinarians who specialize in small and exotic animals (and horses!); and have been practicing in Santo domingo for over 33 years. Nature lovers and a great passion for animals has led us to many travel adventures, usually to observe them in their natural habitats around the world. We are conservationists and for us the environment comes first. We love the sea and going sailing in our small catamaran where we've enjoyed all the beautiful beaches of the Bay. Since 1988 we are exploring Samana and all its hidden treasures which we're excited to share with you.
