One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. Staying there felt like home and it was very beautiful, cozy, and totally worth it. I expect to come back next time I’m in Monterey and back again the next next time.

Oscar, the front desk attendant was kind and thoughtful, and close to the best part of the Inn. Grounds were pleasant, yet there were smokers close to the guest rooms, and no smoking signs on all doors. Unfortunately, when I brought up the issues that were missing, the other employees didn't care that: Spotty to no internet working, especially on the last day I needed to do business online. No HBO available, yet online says it's included. Online, I had previously requested a quiet room, yet they gave me a room that was back up right next to the garbage containers, and at 6:30am-7am, was rudely awakened in the morning. Odd, when the Inn was at 1/3 occupancy. No shampoo nor soap were in the shower's dispensers, as well as the attendant informing me that my room would NOT be serviced because I was only staying for 2 nights, which would have been fine IF the bathroom amenities had been filled up beforehand. Close to a nice shopping center & natural park, yet also right off a busy road.
