Only 10 minutes drive from the cathedral city of Exeter, with its university, theatres, shops and restaurants, Garden Cottage is in a peaceful Devon village with quiet riverside and field walks. The village pub is next door, there are two more excellent pubs also serving food in the neighbouring village and a highly regarded farm shop about 3 miles away. Single storey converted egg store from when Ponsford was a farm. Newly refurbished with tasteful furnishings, wrought iron double bed, well equipped and comfortable. Small child/ baby in travel cot welcome. There is a futon available. Sorry no pets. Please note we are next door to the village pub “secret garden”. This is a lovely venue on summer weekends with tipis, outside bar and food. It closes at 9pm.
