I was staying for the ONCE IN A LIFETIME 2024 total eclipse, and I was not going to miss that. That being said, the only real problem with this place was that the backdoor was NOT SECURED ONTO THE WALL, like not drilled into the wall. You know how doors have hinges? those were not drilled onto the house. So if they fix that, then it's not a bad place. So, first night, within minutes of arriving I notice the door and contact the host. The host said they would send someone out whenever I wanted. I gave them a time. They did NOT confirm. They did NOT show up. They said they showed up at that time, but, as I was there at that time, I know they did not. Anyway, I stayed the first night because I was not going to miss the eclipse. I have dogs and figured they would scare off anyone who tries the door. I left the next day. The host did give me a refund for the second night. All in all, if that door is fixed, it's a decent place to stay, but the price was definitely hiked up for the eclipse.

I booked this home a couple times this week. I stayed 5 nights and loved the place ! I'll be back next week for sure. 5 stars across the board! very nice and responsive host !! I felt very safe in this home traveling as a single woman. super clean!
