I have lived in Matthew's place for one month last month. I can honestly and objectively say that this month was one of my best times during these past years. The room is very clean and very comfortable to live. It is a quiet and peaceful place to study, work, and sleep. You can have a restful time there. The kitchen and the washroom are also very clean and organized. I found it very convenient and relaxed living in Matthew's house. I was very happy and more than satisfied living there, to be honest! Also, Matthew is very helpful, kind, supportive, nice, friendly, polite, awesome, and respectful. His character is remarkable. He is amazing! He helped me to settle in when I first arrived. He welcomed me very warmly and happily even if my schedule changed due to the delay of the flight and the inconvenience caused. I felt that Matthew is also a very caring person. He cares for the tenants living there, and is always willing to help. It is my great honor and pleasure to meet Matthew! ^^

This place has some good amenities: good shower cubicle, heated bathroom towel rail, washer, dryer. The kitchen is okay, but the electric cooker plates could do with some more regular cleaning The accommodation is generally aesthetically challenged, and looks in parts like a work in progress - due in some parts to unreliable workmen I was told. There was some bedding issue, and I was told the previous tenant should have washed the sheets, but hadn't done so - and this was done quickly once I pointed it out. I helped the landlord carry the wardrobe upstairs, as it needed drying out of some mould - probably mainly on the backboard. He was responsive and obliging, and I hope future guests find the place in a better state of readiness for a stay.
