Greener Acres is minutes from Roan Mountain State Park and the Appalachian Trail. Use Greener Acres campsite as your jumping-off point for fun nearby activities or relax on our 40 acre mountainside property. Within 5 minutes, you can be at Roan Mountain State Park or hike the Appalachian Trail. You will be staying in a large glamping tent situated on a platform. The site is only accessible via an off-road vehicle. We will meet you at the parking area near the barn and provide you with a Gator to drive up to the site. Please arrive before dark so your hosts can properly orient you to the site.
