This is simply the best airbnb we have ever stayed at! The pictures-which are beautiful-don’t do it justice! It’s even better in person. And if you don’t go, you would never meet the hosts, Alison and Costas who are the most warm and wonderful people ever. They will make your stay so lovely that you won’t want to leave. If you get a chance, book one of Alison’s cooking weekends. We missed it by a day and we regret it. Will go back for that!! We were there off season so didn’t really use the pool but it’s so pretty to look at even if you’re not swimming. There’s a small village market in the mornings just a block away that’s fun to go to. Cute towns nearby especially Uzes. This is a top rated Chateau with top rated hosts. Everything about our time there was a 10🎉! Oh-and the breakfast every morning with fresh bread, croissants, cheese, fruit, granola… was absolutely delicious. The only thing that almost held me back was sharing some common spaces but upon arrival it was no problem at all. Don’t hesitate-book it!!!

Alison and Costa are the most perfect hosts. The house is set in an exquisite location surrounded by gorgeous landscaping and great company. The children loved the morning breakfasts and days by the pool. We had the best week here and wouldn’t hesitate in rebooking.

We rented the two bedroom cottage at the Chateau for a week with my daughter, her husband and two small children. Our lovely hosts, Alison and Costas, greeted us upon our arrival and checked in throughout our stay. Although they live in the building, the cottages, pool and guests’ living area are private and serene. The pool is surrounded by beautiful terraced gardens and overlooks old castle ruins high on the hill above it. The large kitchen is well appointed for cooking your own meals, each room has its own refrigerator, and the table is big enough to share with friendly fellow guests. Everything is charmingly decorated and thoughtfully arranged, and the experience is very much that of being in one’s own home rather than a hotel. The village itself has a bakery and restaurant within walking distance, but nearby Uzes (about a 30 minute drive) is incredibly beautiful, with a weekly market, charming shops and restaurants. There are an abundance of sites and villages worth visiting within an hour, but the Chateau itself is so wonderful that we were reluctant to leave the peaceful poolside. We very much hope to return again soon.
