We left the same day we checked in, very strong smell of mildew. It was so bad that our driver commented on it when dropping off our bags. There were bugs in bathroom. The floor turned our feet black, had not been cleaned at all. The sheets had make up stains, there was visible blood on pillow. We ended up booking a hotel on our expense to just escape. When discussed with host she offered to clean it, then said we lied about the state of apartment. Also not within walking distance of any sites, in remote location. Do not recommend at all. The area is not safe, with you hearing loud fights from neighbors. Host was inconsiderate.

Our weekend stay at Mia’s place was great. She was very responsive and helpful. The house had plenty of space for two adults and one pre-teen. We were gone majority of the time we were there, so we didn’t utilize the kitchen as much as we would’ve liked to. But if you plan on cooking you will need to supply a lot of your own seasonings. She does provide the basic pots, pans, plates, silverware, essential cookware. But there were no cutting knives or coffee to use for the coffee maker. I know that has been something that I’ve looked for in the past, but this time it wasn’t a big deal. I just wanted to let others know. The kitchen light was also a bit hard to find. It was hidden on the wall to the left side of the fridge. The unit did have a washer and dryer inside. Which was a lifesaver! The only flaw was that my clothes wouldn’t dry on the first run. I had to run it two to three times to fully be dry. The area can be a bit loud outside at times. But nothing that’ll ruin your sleep.
