We loved staying at this beautiful cottage - It was located perfectly, away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to see everything Kent has to offer. We drove to Canterbury and Whitstable with ease from this location. The cottage was large and spacious enough for 2 people - Exactly as per the pictures. We really appreciated the Smart TV in particular! We would definitely recommend a stay here!
Het is een fantastisch huisje aan een rustig weggetje, we zouden het op willen pakken en meenemen naar andere locaties. De natuur in de omgeving is ook prachtig. Enige punt, zoals in veel bnb's, is het voor lange Nederlanders toch wel kleine en smalle bed.
Really lovely location with everything you need for a wonderful visit to the Kent countryside. The shower was great--nice and hot! We didn't need for a thing that wasn't provided. We would definitely recommend a stay here.
The property was perfect for us, it was compact but still felt spacious. Host very quick to respond and accommodating. Fridge had a small freezer compartment which was ideal. Kitchen had the equipment we needed (bread knife if you pop to Gilda’s bakery 5 mins away). We had a great Sunday roast at The Black Robin pub 2 mins away. Small enclosed courtyard at front for our little dog. Felt a really well thought out space, would love to stay again if in the area!
The perfect place to escape to for a few nights. The cottage was well equipped for self catering and perfectly positioned just down the road from a fantastic pub. Internet speeds were exactly what I needed so that I could comfortably work from the dinning table during the day. Then relax on the sofa and stream movies on the smart TV in the evening. At night the bedroom is nice and dark and extremely quiet resulting in easy, undisturbed sleep. The immediate surroundings offer lots of walks and places to explore and the village store in Barham is well worth a visit for snacks and essentials. On my last day I was also pleasantly surprised to find that Canterbury is only a 15 minute drive and very easy to access. Thank you for having me, I look forward to staying again in the future.

The Kent Coastline is just a short drive away (14 miles) where you can explore the nearby towns of Whitstable, Dover, Folkestone or visit the sandy beaches in Thanet. With a variety of charming pubs, traditional tea rooms, and local shops in the vicinity, this is the perfect base for experiencing the warmth and charm of this idyllic corner of England.
Public transport: The bus stop is a short 0.4 mile walk away.
There is a regular bus into Canterbury which takes 15-20 minutes.
There is a regular bus to Folkestone which takes around 45 minutes.
Everywhere is very easily accessible with a car, and we have free private parking on site for 1 car.
