DRIVING: Access to Punta Chivato is via a fairly level and generally well-maintained but unpaved sand road. Sand drifting can occur (especially in the summer July-Sept after storms) and is out of our control, so we recommend a 4x4 vehicle, though it is up to the guests' comfort level, especially with driving on sand. Many of our guests do choose to come in 2wd vehicles. To avoid the drive: we can offer pickup in a luxury Jeep in Mulege or Santa Rosalia - message to confirm availability and pricing at least 24 hours in advance. The glamping unit consists of several different private spaces for your comfort, all equipped with **super-fast and reliable Starlink Wifi**: BELL TENT - queen sized bed with luxurious linens, fluffy duvet (in winter), and plush pillows - natural pine dresser - minifridge - headboard with electrical outlets - natural yute rug - side table - fan - air conditioning for cool naps and sleeping - ceiling lights and table lamps BATHROOM - WC or "toilet room" with Separett toilet AND urinal (for more sustainable waste management) - shower room with towels, luxe robes, aaaaand most importantly: the hottest shower in Baja! we love our state-of-the-art Rheem heat pump heater!
