Set within an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this two-bedroom stone cottage in Kilmington, East Devon, is a great choice for a family plus two dogs looking for long walks, cycle trails, and easy access to the Jurassic Coast. Pleasant furnishings and brilliant white tones sweep through the ground floor creating a soothing atmosphere. After a day out exploring, step through to the stylish kitchen where you’ll find every appliance needed to whip up a meal. Drenched in natural light, it’s a good space to socialise in or enjoy a family dinner at the table. Afterwards, retire to the lounge, sink into the sofa, and watch a film on the Smart TV. When it’s time for bed, cottage-style steep stairs lead to the two bedrooms. The master bedroom is light and breezy with plenty of wardrobe space while children will love the bunk bedroom. Outside, a paved seating area features a BBQ and is the perfect spot for al fresco dining. There’s also an enclosed lawn so the children can play a game of fetch with the dog. Kilmington is a small village with tennis courts, a cricket field, and a play park. There’s also a farm shop and family-friendly pub where you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. Axminster is a quaint town and also worth a visit (2.5 miles). Here you can learn new recipes at the popular cooking school or explore cycle tracks including the Buzzard Route Cycle Track. For a day at the beach head to dog-friendly Lyme Regis (7 miles) where you can splash in the sea and fossil hunt along the Jurassic Coast.
