This place is exceptional, and should we visit again, Matthew's home will undoubtedly be our top choice. The cleanliness and aesthetic design of the house impressed us deeply. The surroundings are simply stunning, and watching the sunrise by the lake was a highlight of our stay. Matthew's prompt responses and kindness added greatly to our experience. As new drivers, we accidentally damaged the house sign, but Matthew generously told us not to worry about compensation. We're truly grateful!

Was looking for a peaceful little retreat and this place provided us that! The cottage is so clean and felt like home the minute you walked in. It gave me all the cottage feels of warm and cozy. We took the canoe out on the water each morning, beautiful start to the days. Went on a few local hikes close by too! Matthew was super responsive and helpful with all instructions and questions we had. Can’t wait to return.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. We felt equally “at home” and “on vacation,” and enjoyed the beautifully restored space. As described, there was lots to do within a short drive; we also enjoyed walking around the lake/neighborhood where the cabin is located. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen for cooking in when we felt like it!
