Lovely location and cute cottage. Monica neglected to mention that the laundry window was broken and an intruder could easily get in. At the exorbitant rate of $1000 a night, I would never have paid this had I realized the security risk. The glass back doors also had a flukey lock and when we arrived there was a 2 foot wooden chopping board leaning up against them. I wondered, after checking the lock, if this was to warn th household if someone from outside came through the doors. Normally the owner has a dog here which was evidenced by the state of the outside area. At least with a dog in the back yard an intruder would be put off from trying to get in. I do not expect my family to be exposed to a security risk or our gear at risk of being stolen when we book a property at this price. Very disappointing Airbnb.

A great stay. We enjoyed staying here for the weekend. Quick walk to the tram and just a little bit further to the train station. Lovely local cafes. Monique and Sam were super helpful and responsive with lots of great suggestions. Would definitely recommend staying here.
