Andrew is a very polite and warm elderly person. We greatly admire his efforts in cleaning up the damage to his premises caused by the recent floods. It is thanks to his dedication that we can now enjoy the comfort of the accommodation. This location has a unique charm for someone living by the sea. The small boats float on the gentle Avon River, and the scenery along the riverbank is beautiful. There is also a scenic riverside path, allowing us to enjoy a pleasant morning stroll. Don't worry about the simplicity of the facilities, the experience will be worth the price. For instance, when was the last time you were able to smoke while using the restroom? I also remember forever the story Andrew told me about the toll bridge. That was truly a far-sighted investment.

Really nice place to stay - we stayed for a night, it was nice and warm inside which was our main worry before the trip! It's a really peaceful area just outside of Bath, and there are good walks and restaurants nearby as well. We were able to watch the sunrise over the hills in the morning. Andrew was very kind and responsive, with good local knowledge, and also supplied us with breakfast which was very nice. I would say this is a good option for an affordable stay close to Bath, especially in summer.

Andrew was extremely hospitable during our stay. Very informative about the local area, and messaged back quickly throughout. The boat was what we expected and had a lovely little kitchen area on the patio. When water levels rose Andrew made sure to message us so we were prepared, and helped us get all of our belongings off the boat safely and dryly- he went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. would definitely stay here again!
