Come stay in a furnished, off-grid, yurt surrounded by a 20-acre wood! The yurt is located in one corner of the property at the very end of the access road so no one will bother you. Take a walk up the road to a wooded lookout or relax on the large porch with coffee and listen to the birds and quiet. For chilly nights enjoy the wood stove and watch the stars. 14 minutes to downtown Sandpoint, Lake Pend Oreille, mountain bike trails, hiking and 10 minutes to the base of Schweitzer. It is a 26' diameter yurt with potable water inside. There is a non-potable water tank under the deck for the shower. There is no hot water and no electricity. There is a large battery to run the lights and charge electronics or watch movies. Cell service is patchy.

This place is wondrous. If it were possible to give it more than 5 stars, I would. Monica is very helpful and friendly. Her instructions to get to the yurt and for the use of the amenities were very straightforward and clear. The place is remote and quiet while being conveniently located close to town. The space is stunning and immaculate. The bed was also very comfortable! The area around the yurt is so beautiful, with lots of places to explore! The stars are bright and the area is peaceful. I will recommend this place to everyone I know and am already excited for my next visit.
Beautiful, private location to unwind after a week of traveling. Everything was clean, including the outhouse. The directions given were straightforward and easy to follow. Would recommend!
we loved staying here! feels super isolated but is a close drive into town.
