Our house is in one of the best locations in Busselton, east of the city centre in the quietest part of town. It is only a five minute walk to the beach, 10-15 minute walk to the Busselton Jetty and all that the foreshore has to offer and the same for the centre of town. Busselton is known as the events capital of Western Australia and our neighbourhood is used as part of many of these (Busselton Ironman, the Busselton Jetty Swim or the Busselton Show) so you will be right among the action. Our house was built in the 1960s but has been lovingly renovated in every room. The only part that hasn't been touched is the hallway cupboards, but those along with other features of the house, highlight the mid century modern era that the house was built in. The floors are all original jarrah floorboards and they look amazing after we had them recently re-sanded and sealed. There are some lovely spaces inside the house. The kitchen and dining room space is the heart of the home. It is spacious and welcoming and for those who like to cook, the kitchen is large enough to whip up a feast for your family and friends. The piece de la resistance of the house is the outside living areas including the jarrah deck (which can be made weather proof with pull down blinds), the pizza oven, the large backyard, the outdoor shower, the various veggie gardens and the shed area. There is also an outdoor fire pit (as well as a fireplace inside the house) for those cooler nights. We love just hanging out on the deck for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Heaven! When we were looking at buying this house, there was no doubt in our minds it was for us. It has everything we need and we hope that you will feel that way too!
