Pine Cottage is a beautiful exposed stone cottage, nestled within extensive private gardens, in the Adelaide Hills village of Stirling. Inside you'll find all you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay for a couple, a family, or a small group of friends. Located on the doorstep of the Adelaide Hills, it makes the perfect base for exploring the abundance of local wineries, restaurants and villages in the area. Or simply get cosy and enjoy the garden views from every room. Pine Cottage offers a flexible, spacious and comfortable stay for families, couples and friends alike. The beautiful, extensive gardens are a great place for kids and nature lovers to explore, or you can find a quiet spot and just relax and take it all in. There is a large master bedroom with king sized bed and lots of storage space for your luggage and acquired treasures. The second bedroom is also a generous size, complete with queen sized bed, single loft bed, reading nook and plenty of storage. For safety, we recommend the loft bed be used by people aged 5 and older. Large windows on two walls of the lounge room allow guests to feel immersed in the garden, while enjoying the comfort and warmth of being tucked away inside. The perfect space to read a book, watch a movie, play games, catch up on work or have a chat. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas cooktop, oven, large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, pod coffee machine, toaster and kettle. There's lots of bench space if you feel like cooking up a storm, again with stunning garden views while you prep. You can also keep an eye on the outdoor wood fire pizza oven and fire pit from the kitchen windows. The dining table is a beautiful sunny spot to enjoy your breakfast and watch the birds start their day. The bathroom has a shower, large claw foot bath, toilet and vanity all in the one room. There is a separate laundry with a washing machine if you need to wash clothes. A dryer, hills hoist and drying racks are also available. All linen is supplied. Enjoy the comfort of ducted air-conditioning throughout and the convenience of free wi-fi. Solar panels supply electricity so rest assured that turning on the a/c is not costing the earth. The living area has a combustion heater if you like the ambience of a fire and there's a fire pit outside for those chilly days and nights where you want to enjoy the outdoors. It's a family friendly house and has all you need for your little ones including porta cot (on request), high chair, bath, kids books and kids dinnerware. That said, please supervise young children with the loft bed in Bedroom 2 and the small flight of 3 stairs from the loungeroom to the living area. Pine Cottage also makes an ideal place for bridal parties to get ready for a wedding. If you feel like wandering further, Stirling is on the doorstep of a plethora of Adelaide Hills wineries, farms, restaurants, country pubs and shops. You really can't go wrong, just jump in the car and explore! For interstate travellers it's handy to know that Adelaide CBD is only a 20 minute drive away and the airport is a 36 minute drive. A bus stop is located right outside of Pine Cottage. NEED TO RETREAT? Done. The moment you close the gate, it's your own private retreat. The only decision you'll need to make is which space to choose. Put your feet up in the loungeroom, get cosy in a reading nook, draw a bath and soak away, or find a quiet corner of the garden.
