Great place, well-appointed and spacious. Small appliances in the kitchen and plenty of utensils. White towels for both bathing and dark towels to take to Furnas hot springs if you want. Umbrellas were great for the rain. Couch is comfortable! Instructions are detailed and clear, and the host was very responsive. The apartment is the garden level of a 3-floor building, so two floors of apartments overlook the garden where the hot tub is located. The pergola provides some screening, but it's fairly open. There is a moisture issue in the ceiling over the dining area, but the hosts are working on it. Overall, would recommend!

O alojamento é magnifico. A experiência vale cada cêntimo pago. Se procurarem um espaço onde passar um fim de semana para desligar do caos do trabalho, o epicenter LAGOA (e também o SANTA CRUZ e o SKYBAR) são a escolha perfeita. Recomendo vivamente, e voltarei certamente. Anfitrião 5 estrelas, também!

Nice, quiet place. Good, central location for exploring the island but not a ton of things to do that are walkable (a few restaurants and a small beach are 15-20 mins away). Patio area is not as private as it looks in pictures (multiple neighbors are right above hot tub/porch) but otherwise accurate and pretty views. Minor issues with appliances, but owners were responsive. Overall, it was a good experience.

Un grand appartement très fonctionnel pour nous derniers jours sur l’île. Très bien équipé, chambres confortables, petit jardin (avec un jacuzzi privé) bref une pause très agréable. Les voisins sont parfois un peu bruyants mais cela reste tout à fait bien. Je recommande !

Clear instructions to self check in however the key to get into the main building was very fiddly. All the basics were provided! We enjoyed using the hot tub in the evenings though obviously due to it being an apartment it was not particularly private. People’s laundry kept falling down from their balconies so we had to keep throwing their clothes back up. Obviously it being an apartment meant you could hear people walking around upstairs etc. The location was ideal and close to nearby beaches and a large well stocked supermarket. Lots of towels were provided which was really useful for beach/hot springs. The aircon was useful as it was hot but it did start to leak at one point. One really frustrating part of our stay was the fireworks which kept going off (sounded like gunshots) from the nearby church. We got woken up at 7am on Sunday morning with this very loud sound. Not relaxing at all and it would randomly go off at different points during the day. The wifi was slow.
