I really enjoyed my time at Mario and Filipa’s place. The view from the bedroom and upstairs living room are among my all time favorites. The home is in a quiet neighborhood within walking or short driving distance to some of the best hiking on the island, the ocean pool, and grocery stores and restaurants. It’s the kind of place I will miss and will hope to come back to again someday soon.

A very nice home. Charming design, well appointed and in the midst of a local fishing village. The essence of Lagoa old Town fishing village is captured at this place with modern amenities. Comfortable beds and beautiful coastal views. great for a family of four or two traveling couples.

A beautiful home and stunning views! This house has everything you need. Mario and Filipa are so kind and very responsive and accommodating. We were able to have early check in which is very appreciated. The space worked perfectly for my family. There is privacy if needed and shared living spaces and it is the perfect balance. The shower is lovely and we didn’t have any difficulty finding a parking spot close by. Laundry was a great addition. There is a small grocery store and a lovely cafe to walk to. The upstairs rooms have large glass doors that open to view the ocean and it is very nice to listen to the waves at night. The home is even more beautiful than the photos! Thank you for having us.

Loved our stay. Right next to the water, and parking was nearby and easy to find. The town is very quiet and there are some great restaurants just up/down the road. Place itself was very well designed and really beautiful and clean! Highly recommended.
