Maine Yoga Adventures had a wonderful stay at the home. The hosts of the house are easy to get a hold of and would respond to questions swiftly and make changes if need be. The location is perfect for roaming to all of the goodness on the island. The pool & hot tub are great additions, the hosts will clean them and add more heat if you find it necessary. The gardens are super sweet, nice outdoor areas. Highly recommend! And I might return to this home next time I visit the Azores :)

We had an amazing time at the Lotus House and felt at home immediately. The heated pool was an absolute standout feature while we visited in April and our two teens were in the pool daily. The house and yard are beautiful. The hosts were friendly, communicative, and incredibly knowledgeable. We have no complaints about the Lotus House or Sao Miguel and we’d absolutely stay here again on a future trip.

Lotus House is well above the average and has a number of excellent features. Kitchen is well equipped and good size. There are few games in the house (some interesting books also for anyone who wished/had to stay at the house). House has a drive that can fit two cars. Driveway is partially roofed. We had a flexible check in, received good instructions and a lovely welcome pack. Fireplace is lovely, it worked well when we wanted to heat the downstairs up, as otherwise downstairs does not have any heating that we have seen. Lotus House is located 7km out of Ponta Delgada city centre, this is a 90 min walk if one wanted to make it. Reasonable taxi service, although twice taxi could not find the address and took us some 400 meters away. During our stay the heating of the pool never heated to 30C. Potentially the heater is not strong enough to work well pre-season. The Jacuzzi worked perfectly though Azores and Sao Miguel is the perfect destination. Wherever you stay, its a win.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Ein Mietwagen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Etwa 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt und eine tolle Basis, um die Insel zu entdecken.

What an amazing quiet place! Fernando was super responsive if we had any questions or needed any help at the house.
