Raul’s place has everything you need. Location is great and apartment is spacious. He was kind enough to let me check-in early for a small fee. However, power outages are common (far from ideal in a weather over 100F). I sweated the night off and could not see anything while getting ready in the morning. Because of that, I accidentally left the door open once. The main town had electricity, though. The A/C won’t turn on after a couple of outages in a row, so you need to wait for 15 minutes to turn it back on. Instructions were not provided beforehand. The shower temp is controlled through the shower head (not common nor explained). There are a lot of mosquitoes in the apartment, so be prepared. The main thing I was not happy about was that Raul insinuated I had an additional guest based on rumors. Instead of showing proof, he did not trust what I put on the reservation. This airbnb listing still needs clear instructions and I am not sure I would recommend it because of the host.

very nice stay in flores. in the middle of the island so all places are very accessible. the appartment was very comfy, clean and the host was also very reactif.

Raul was super forthcoming and quick to reply, as well as truly helping us with a flexible check-in and check out. The space was great! Only at nights it was a bit noisy since the place is right next to a bar (but this is no fault of his!). A super nice place to stay in Flores!
