A beautifully decorated cabin with the most beautiful view over Hvalfjörður. Only 50 mins from the center of Reykjavik and half way to Snæfellsnes peninsula. It has everything you need for a peaceful stay, a big hot tub, a big tv with apple tv (netflix), lovely hiking trails around the area and one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland Glymur is in driving distance. The house is 75 sqm with two bedrooms. One bedroom has a bed size of 160cmx200cm. The 2nd bedroom has a triple bed 240cmx200cm and a bunk bed 80cmx200cm. Comfortable for up to five people. Perfect for two couples or a family of 4-5. Suitable for children over the age of four. One bathroom with a shower and two wash basins. The kitchen has a frigde, oven, dishwasher and all plates, glasses and kitchenware you need. Outside on the patio, next to the hot tub is a tiny storage room with a washer and dryer.

Hvalfjörður is close to the capital but stil so peaceful. It has one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland, Glymur, lovely hiking trails, horses and one of the best spa lagoons in Iceland Hvammsvik.
You can get to the cabin by car by two routes. You can drive the whole fjord (takes about an hour) and go to the Hvammsvik spa lagoon while driving or you can drive under the Hvalfjordur tunnel (15 mins) and then take a right turn into Hvalfjorður (only 6 min drive from there to the house). The house is situated in an area full of cabins and the house sits at the top of the hill.
