Very tidy and quaint place! Incredibly peaceful & Gudrun Maria was a wonderful host. Providing local recommendations, giving us everything we needed to know, and making sure the place was well-maintained when we got there!

This is a lovely cottage with amazing scenery and views in a quiet secluded location. The cottage is comfortable, warm and has the amenities for a longer stay. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean as well, kitchen was also clean and made useful for those longer stays. The host was friendly, communicative and provided helpful tips about the property and things to do and find in the area. The only drawback is not necessarily related to the properly specifically, but more so Iceland as a whole. Outside of Reykjavik the options for restaurants and grocery stores are limited and are a far drive from the cottage. There is a café nearby where one can buy daily necessities, but it is seldom open in the winter time. If you do your grocery shopping in advance or plan on visiting Reykjavik more regularly, this is not a problem. We had a great stay and we recommend the host and the property for anyone who wants to visit and explore Iceland!
