The cottage was a great choice for our stay, so cozy and quaint. The hosts were always available for questions and even reached out when there were some storms one evening during our stay. The outdoor shower made for a fun adventure, overall had a wonderful time here! They also have plenty of recommendations if you need some insight on what to do!

My family stayed here for our first leg of our vacation around the ring road. Gudborg’s cottage was such a wonderful experience. It was cozy, yet just the amount of space we needed, and absolutely perfect for my family of 5 (two adults and three children <13). The kids loved the trampoline and watching the ducks and sheep out back. My husband and I loved the outdoor shower! It was the perfect location to explore the west coast of Iceland, yet get away from the crowd. We would love to come back and visit again soon!

We had the most amazing time at this idyllic cottage by the lake. Our 9 year old loved rowing out on the boat and it was wonderful to wake up to such beautiful scenery. Everything we needed was in the cabin which was very homely and filled with fun things like the binoculars to spot the swan family on the lake! The local suggestions from the host both by Airbnb message and with the maps which she has produced were really helpful. The outdoor shower was a fun experience! Thanks for a great stay!
