This unique place has a style all its own. Our newly renovated 2nd story apartment almost feels like you're in a treehouse. We live next door in the Main House. Situated in the heart of Jacksonville's Historic Springfield, you'll be in walking distance to our local restaurants and breweries and just a few miles from downtown where you can walk long the St. John's River or check out some local Museums. We had the best stay here! My girlfriend and I stayed for a few days and worked remotely. The apartment was so cozy and beautifully decorated. Debra did an amazing job with the place and made sure we had everything we needed. She even brought us some nectarines off her tree. We definitely recommend this place to other guests, and hope to be back sometime soon! Thanks Debra

Great cute spot ! The photos don’t do it justice of how cute the decor is . Debra did a fabulous job at decorating . It’s a very cute place plenty of space for 2 people . The window ac units work very well. It was quite at night . The bed is super comfy and pillows are perfect . Extra quilts in the closet if needed . We were just in town for a concert and needed one over night place next to the Vystar arena which was a 10$ Uber . The water pressure was weak only in the shower so don’t expect to do hair wash day if you have thick long hair but it was built in 1928 so it makes sense. We would stay here again and recommend to others .
This is my second stay at Debra's place! Irs located in wonderful area of Springfield. Its in a diverse neighbor with turn 20thc homes in various stages of renovation. Its a beautiful authentic place with lots of history. Debra's place is an apartment above an old carriage house. It has vintage vibe decor and is cozy and comfy! I would definitely stay again. Debra also gave me a bag full nectarines from a tree in her back yard.

Historic Springfield is a pretty awesome neighborhood, but I realize it is not everyone's ideal area to stay. It is in transition with an active community working hard to bring it back to its glory. This said, you might encounter homelessness, abandoned homes, and people from different racial backgrounds. It can be intimidating to some. However, I've always felt safe living here and wouldn't live anywhere else.
I want my guests to have the best experience and feel comfortable.
We have great local coffee shops , 3 micro-breweries, disc golf, restaurants, bars... all walking distance from us!
We are about 20 minutes from JAX airport and 30 minutes from the beach.
1 mile from downtown, the river, The Florida Theatre. and 1.8 miles from Jaguars Stadium, Veteran's Arena, and the Baseball Grounds.
The Cummer Museum and Historic Riverside are also only a few miles away.
