Nestled in the heart of Elkhart County, this cozy house offers the perfect retreat for a serene and relaxing stay. It is near the third-largest rail freight yard in the United States, designed with a train theme. As you relax on the deck, you might even spot a few deer and hear the distant sounds of trains passing by, adding to the peaceful ambiance. Come and experience the tranquility and comfort this house has to offer. Despite its small size, the house is surprisingly spacious, with two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a single bathroom, and a large deck. Each bedroom and the living room have a large TV, providing a comfortable and entertaining stay.

I really enjoyed this place. The theme was as described. A quiet get away that allowed for a home feel, while working away from home. Warren was very responsive and provided helpful feedback for things to do for a kid and sites to see. Staying here when I am in the area again is highly likely if available.
I absolutely LOVED staying here. It was clean, comfortable, and homely. I enjoyed starting each day off with the coffee/tea bar and getting back in bed (which was too comfy to resist going back to) for another hour. It was an easy drive to the South Bend Airport and super pet-friendly for my dog. I don’t get to travel much so I’m thankful I had such a reliable place to go back to after my adventures each day :)
I’m so glad I needed to stop in Elkhart, because it led me to the Choo Choo Inn! As soon as you open the door, it’s cozy and welcoming. There is all you could need and more. Kitchen, bedrooms, living space, laundry area and bathroom were all without flaw. You will want for nothing. Warren provided great local recommendations as well. And the framed picture behind the bathroom door gave me such an unexpected chuckle. If I’m ever in the area again, I will cross my fingers that the Choo Choo is available! Thank you for a cozy stay, with such personality!
Inaccurate description, you don’t really get ur own place to stay. you stay in the guest house behind the main house they will be actively staying in and watching you.

He spends his days renovating old homes, producing home improvement videos for his YouTube channel, programming his internet radio station, and keeping the party going as the KJ at VFW Post 360.
