Around the corner you'll find the LUKACS BATH, one of the many Turkish era baths in Budapest, this one being less busy is more friendly than the bigger ones. The CASTLE DISTRICT is just a 10 minute walk, the 19th century PARLIAMENT building, unique in Europe, is within 10 minutes with tram 4,6 or Metro M2. Tram 4,6 brings you right into the heart of the party district filled with restaurants and the famous ruin-pubs in 10 minutes. Evening walks along the RIVERBANK with the magnificent illuminated sight of the Parliament on the otherside makes for a perfect holiday memory.

METRO M2 - stops within a 5 minute walk from the flat.The M2 was listed as one of the 10 most beautiful tram-lines in the world. It actually takes you fromBuda to South Pest’s venues like the House of Arts (an amazing concert hall) via the Danube corso all the way along the Danube river to the Parliament and the Margaret Bridge, Deak Ferenc square, takes you everywhere you'll need to go in the city. TRAM 4,6 (NONSTOP - you don't need to use Taxi!!!) - stops within a 3 minute walk from the flat and brings you right into the heart of the party district filled with the best restaurants and the famous ruin-pubs in 10 minutes. (King street, Gozsdu yard, Andrássy street, Deák street...) BIKES - we can provide two bikes for your stay for 5 € per day/person which makes it very easy to see the main sites, soak in the city's atmosphere, hang out at the island or go visit the riverbank buffets along the "Roman coast", a populat spot with locals. PARKING - Unfortnuately, as in any big city, parking in Budapest is an issue. You can park you car on the street, but that'll cost money. We can also point you to guarded parking lots in the neighborhood and check current prices for you ahead of your visit.
