We wholeheartedly endorse all the glowing reviews! This beautiful retreat was perfect for us. We had both been unwell and it turned out to be the best place to recover and recharge. We loved everything about this house— the old world nature of it reminded us of another time; the eclectic decor and the attention to detail was impeccable; it is cosy, comfortable and full of character. We felt at home immediately because the love invested in this house is palpable and that makes you feel instantly welcomed. It is a gardener’s dream! The birds serenaded us all day. Fresh figs from the garden were a most welcome treat. There is plenty to explore in the wider area, and plenty of places to eat well. But our favourites were at the end of the street—the Boatshed and the Pickled Octopus—fun and unpretentious with a fabulous view, especially at sunset. Brenda was the very best of hosts: incredibly informative and very responsive. Her creativity and warmth shine through in Biliga!
