Overall we had a great stay at the Blue Canoe. Chris was helpful and generous. We spent a lot of time on the fantastic veranda relaxing and eating. Rode bikes to the beach everyday as it’s not far from the house. The house is older but well equipped with comfortable furniture and decor. The family/kitchen/dining/lounge area is large and great for family time. Older electric stove but oven works well, big fridge, great BBQ on veranda, exterior sliding and shower doors a bit jammy, comfortable beds for the adults but not so much for the kids, comfy large couch and handy washer and dryer. Plenty of space in the garage for fishing rods, surfboards, canoes etc. We had to sort out a few significant cleaning and rubbish issues and recommended to Chris some expense to get these up to scratch. Not had a response with suggestions so hopefully, subsequent bookings will have these sorted.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Canoe. The house is spacious and comfortable and close to the shops and beaches. The water glimpse from the balcony was a nice surprise.
