We loved our stay! There was a lot to do and explore and extremely dog friendly. (Our dog did not want to leave.) Would absolutely stay again!

The cottage was in an ideal location, ver close to Glenora Winery, and many others. The house was clean and very private. I would recommend for any family who wanted to stay somewhere close to attractions and lots of wineries.

Stayed at Jamie's 'rustic retreat' for a week (dog friendly). It is exactly as described -- rustic and in a beautiful quiet area surrounded by large homes and in back of the Glenora winery. If you need modern, updated facilities you won't enjoy this wonderful home. Think of it as a family cabin with everything you need to spend a week relaxing both outside and in. It fully met our expectations and then some. The front porch overlooking Seneca lake (in the distance) surrounded by trees and cool breezes was our own personal oasis. Almost no traffic moves up or down the street. Coffee, wine, enjoying each other's company -- that's what that porch is made to support. I echo another guest who noted that if anyone in the party is mobility impaired -- not the right pick. There's a small hill without any path leading to the front porch then up half a dozen steps to the door. While there is a half bath on the first floor, the main is on the second. We will visit again! Loved it.

My husband, dog, and I spent a week at the cottage. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the area! It's close to Watkins Glen and Geneva, plus everything in between. We even went to Kueka Lake and Cayuga Lake very easily. The street where it's located is beautiful. Great views of the lake and amazing fall colors. The cottage itself is well-maintained. It's kind of a no-frills type of place which worked for us, but just be prepared for that. Our favorite parts were the huge yard and wood stove since it was chilly when we were there. Communication with the host was great and they gave us some awesome recommendations. Highly recommend checking out this cottage to explore FLX!
