What a fantastic and magical weekend! My partner, our two dogs, and nothing but the hummingbirds and woodpeckers to keep us company! The home far exceeded our expectations and everything was so carefully thought out, with attention being paid to even the tiniest detail. We walked in to nothing but a sense of comfort and peace, and you can see how well loved and cared for this little cabin oasis is. The area is just off the beaten path enough that you can truly unplug and unwind, but you’re still just a short drive to some wonderful dining options, as well as some of the most beautiful landscapes you can imagine. It was a weekend of living more slowly, and just soaking up the company of my little family. Thank you so much Jen, James, and Morty for generously sharing this place with us! We can’t wait to come back!

Jen was a very gracious hostess. She made our check in very easy and had a welcome basket for us upon arrival. She really went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our time at the birds nest cabin very much. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.

We were looking for a last minute getaway to celebrate a couple of occasions and found this gem, a cozy cabin with all the amenities one might need. Although there are neighbours on both sides and a road with truck traffic, the space felt private and serene. The train sound/view were both enjoyed as it added a certain ambience. We appreciated a full size, well equipped kitchen to make all the meals/snacks. The hot tub was perfect especially on a slightly rainy day. It definitely provided a forest bathing experience. Loved the strong water pressure in the cabin and how quickly the water turns hot. A little side note for shorter folks, since the bathtub is a deep soak tub, the shower head can be difficult to reach when standing inside the tub. I’m 5’8 and could barely reach it when tiptoed. My partner who is 6’5, on the other hand, LOVED how high it was haha. The space was clean/comfortable with a lot of personal touch. Our dog, Maxine, also had a blast! Right by the Fraser River, Bird's Nest cabin was a delightful surprise for our recent getaway. As two travelers who've explored our fair share of Airbnb spots, this one truly stood out. The hot tub was a fantastic touch, perfect for unwinding, and the wood fireplace added a cozy charm to our evenings. Watching a movie on the projector was a fun and unique experience, and we loved the greenery indoors - it gave such a fresh vibe. We enjoyed watching the passing trains from the cabin. The occasional visits from blue jays and red robins added to the natural beauty of the surroundings. Overall, it was a great escape from the hustle and bustle, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. We're already planning our next visit!
