Lovely peaceful little cottage with everything you need and very nice hosts

This was a last minute booking but Lisa accepted my booking without hesitation. Instructions were very clear and whilst there is no key safe, meeting the host to get the key was not an issue. The cottage is situated in the back garden but access is via a service road - do bear that in mind if you do have any difficulties when walking. Additionally the pathway to access the property might be too narrow if you are a wheelchair user but I am sure Lisa would have a work around for you. The cottage is perfect, it benefits from its own sectioned off part of the garden with plenty of seating for you to relax. Simply but tastefully decorated and we instantly felt at home and relaxed, the photos on the listing don't really do the property full justice. There is a huge retail complex a short drive away close to Northampton Town FC's football ground. Would highly recommend Lisa's place

Lisa was very responsive and friendly however this stay did not meet my expectations for the price point. I had an issue with staining on bedding on arrival which Lisa did change the bedding but this should have not happened in the first place. Most items were good and in good condition but a bit more attention to detail would have been good as well. Accessing the property was a bit tricky and this would have been okay if it’s included in the listing description (unless I missed it) then you arrive prepared about it but this is not mentioned as well.

Lovely stay, the host was so friendly and helpful! Felt right at home, would stay again!!
