Step aboard Pura Vida and immerse yourself in the charm of a unique boat retreat. The boat boasts a very comfortable living room with boho/vintage/contemporary vibes, featuring a brand new queen sleeper sofa. Situated across from the living area, you'll find a dining area seating four, complete with a full kitchen boasting a four-burner gas range, full-size fridge/freezer, and new quartz countertops. Throughout the boat, you'll notice all-new flooring, paint, ceiling fans, countertops, and window blinds, creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere. If work calls, make use of the dedicated cubby space equipped with a printer, desk and chair. The bathroom may be compact but offers all the necessary amenities, including a shower with marine-grade toilet tissue provided for your convenience. Venture a bit further inside the boat to discover a private bedroom adorned with a comfortable queen bed. Additionally, a makeup table or a second work area is available for your convenience. A small combo washer/dryer is tucked away in a closet, ensuring you have everything you need for a seamless stay, though we recommend small loads to avoid wrinkling. Alternatively, a iron and iron board are provided to keep your clothes looking fresh. Step outside onto the rear covered porch (stern) and find a small bistro table and two chairs, perfect for embracing the marina ambiance. As you ascend the stairs, (please always descend the same way you ascended the stairs) another covered living room awaits, complete with two sofas, chairs, a 55" Smart TV and two newly installed swinging chairs to make the most of the surrounding views. The Isinglass can be lowered for added privacy or to shield against cooler days. For those seeking some sun-kissed relaxation, head to the open area featuring two loungers, perfect for basking in the sun's rays. Enjoy a delicious meal made fresh by you on the gas grill as the sunsets over the marina. Not only does the marina boasts its unique charm, you are also granted access to the resort's pool and clubhouse facilities. Upon assuming management recently, the owner of Pura Vida has garnered exclusively 5-star reviews. Staying on Pura Vida promises to be an unforgettable experience, offering a fun, unique, and rewarding retreat. Please keep in mind that Pura Vida is only available for a limited time throughout the year, specifically from February through mid-April and again from June through mid-August. I loved my stay on Pura Vida. The location was unbeatable and the wildlife viewing from the boat was like none I’ve experienced. The boat has everything you need for a good stay. I plan to stay here every time I visit the area going forward!
This house boat made for an amazing vacation. It's roomy and comfortable. We were worried that it would rock but it's very solid and hardly moves. We spent most the day fishing off the bow and just watching Dolphins and manitees go by. It has a great layout with plenty of amenities. The marina resort is great as well even though we didn't use it much. We can wait to come back!
We’ve always stayed on the gulf or ocean front. This by far supersedes! We saw dolphins and manatees several times a day. It’s close to great restaurants, boat rentals, grocery stores and beaches in Port Canaveral. We witnessed three Space X launches which was super neat. The owner was super responsive and everyone in the marina and resort were super friendly.
We had a great time in this gem - I was hesitant to book at first, as there were no earlier ratings, but it was really worth it. The house boat is located at the Cape Crossing Marina, and it's anchored right at the river, not inside the marina. It looks as on the pictures, it's clean, and we saw dolphin families, pelicans and other birds right next to the boat and even manatees once. At first, I was a little worried as there's a highway close by, but it wasn't loud and didn't disturb. Hadn't we booked the next apartment of our journey already before, we'd have prolonged our stay. You can certainly also see rocket launches from there, but then again only when they're well up in the air. We decided to go to a place with a direct line of sight for a launch during our stay. Please note, the name "Pura Vida" is currently not visible on the outside of the boat, but you'll recognize it from the pictures.
We were celebrating our anniversary. This was a very unique opportunity to try something new. We decided to grill steaks on the gas grill provided on our first night. The next morning we drove to a nearby beach to watch the sunrise. We ate at a local diner afterwards. There was plenty to do but we chose to relax on the houseboat. We saw a manatee and a dolphin while sitting on the bow of the boat. It was very comfortable. We would recommend Beachside Vacation Rentals.
