Our house is in the vibrant area called Amsterdam Noord - a little bit away from the crowded old center, but still a bike ride or quick metro ride into town. Amsterdam Noord is often topping the charts for 'coolest' area of Amsterdam, with lots of great restaurants and bars as well as vintage markets.
If you enjoy cycling or walking, our house is also adjacent to beautiful countryside, with miles of cycling and walking lanes through the farm lands.
Our house is in a residential part of Amsterdam Noord - it's located on a green which means children can safely roam in and out of the house. There is hardly any traffic in our street.

We have our own drive in front of the house where you can park your car for free, and there is space on the street for free parking also.
We recommend cycling for getting around, you can find bike rental shops all around Amsterdam.
Public transport connections are great - you can take a bus into town or cycle to the metro station which is a 5 minute cycle. The metro from the nearest station to our house, into Central station, departs every 7-10 minutes and only takes 5 minutes into CS.
