At first Jason was very responsive and accommodating. The listing says fenced in yard. I told him we would have three dogs with us and he said that would be fine. I asked if he had dogs on the premises due to one of my dogs not being dog friendly and he said no. Upon arrival his house and the rental share the same fenced in yard. There was a dog growling and barking and would not let us in. Jason looked through the window and did nothing. I had to knock on his door and ask him to do something with the dog. The next morning he let his two dogs out in the shared yard while we were trying to load up. The bathroom door does not shut. The doors have a lot of window space with no coverings. It rained the entire night and morning we were there so my dogs were wet. After check out Jason messaged me telling me I left his place trashed and smelling bad. When I questioned him about the trash he said there was dog hair, crumbs, and wet tissue paper all over the rental. These are complete made up.

Me, my husband, our 4 year old son and our 3 dogs stayed a weekend and can’t say enough great things. All the seclusion you could want but close to plenty of amenities and things to do. The internet was way faster than I was expecting. The fenced yard provided plenty of room for our energetic dogs to do their zoomies. Jason was always prompt whenever I had a question. Stay a night or a week and you will not be disappointed.

We were the very first people to stay at this detached guesthouse, and our experience was great! If you like the outdoors, this is the place for you. We were able to step outside and watch the stars above from the outdoor seating area. Despite being a guesthouse, it feels very secluded (note the relatively steep gravel driveway), and it’s convenient having Jason right next door if needed. He was extremely responsive and flexible with check-in/out times. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bunch of board/card games and a smart tv with wifi inside as well. It was a great value too - can’t recommend enough!
