We couldn't have had a better experience with Vicki and Bob. Very hospitable, attentive and accommodating. From making us feel welcome before we arrived to meeting the others that live there (the dog Hannah, the cats, chickens, and pigs). The kids had a great time, it was relaxing to unplug from the internet and hangout in the evening after a day of adventures in the surrounding area. We highly recommend this location and can't wait to go back to explore some more out on the northwestern portion of the Olympic peninsula. We saw Cape Flattery, Shi Shi Beach, visited the Makah Cultural Museum, the town of Sekiu, went to Salt Creek/Tongue Point, explored Port Angeles, and had a quick visit at Cresent Lake for the kids spring break.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vicki’s place in Joyce! Vicki was very responsive before and after booking, answering any questions I had and offering accommodations. It was comfortable, cozy, and the main living area was actually roomier than expected, lots of floor space, with a large kitchen- beautiful reclaimed wood cabinets! They had stocked the kitchen with spices, tea, cooking materials, and Tupperware- she even brought over oil and coffee beans for us! It made meals a breeze. It was only 20 minutes to Port Angeles, so it was also easy to pop over to the store/restaurants. It was nestled (closely) to Port Angeles, but we could also continue on the 101 to explore Forks/Hoh Rainforest. The jet tub was such a fun bonus, and the beds were comfortable with lots of blankets available. On their recommendation, we went to a nearby beach park- Salt Creek, which was gorgeous! This was a great find and would recommend to anyone else :)
