This luxurious property for two (and one dog) is in a wonderful spot 1 mile from Richmond, a historical town known as the Gateway to the Dales. Spend your days taking long, pet-pleasing walks, discovering the national park’s splendour, followed by quiet evenings in, making the most of the property’s excellent facilities, including an indulgent hot tub and a sauna. As you approach, be sure to admire the stone facade before stepping inside this dog-friendly retreat. The ground floor includes a spacious open-plan living space with lovely wooden ceiling beams and two sets of French doors leading out to the furnished patio. This is a cosy haven for kicking back with your partner and pet, with a Smart TV, sofas for the humans and plenty of rug space for your fluffy friend to lie on. In the farmhouse-style kitchen, a breakfast bar is the perfect spot for your partner to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while you prepare a slap-up meal. Upstairs, the beautiful bedroom with super-king-size bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom makes for lovely, lazy lie-ins. Outside, the patio is a sun trap that both you and your dog will adore. The cottage also features a charming front pond, home to ducks and geese, offering a picturesque spot for morning coffee with your beloved pet. You’ll be 350 metres from the sweet village centre of Hudswell, 1.5 miles from the nearest pub and 2 miles from shops for picking up supplies. Locally you can take relaxing walks in the pretty Hudswell Woods and along the Swale River (1 mile). Richmond also has a Norman castle (2.5 miles) that you’re welcome to visit with your dog on a lead, alongside plenty of shops and cafes and an unmissable waterfall.
