We had a lovely time at Donald's waterfront cottage. We enjoyed the view of the lake at all times of day--the serene mornings with the sun reflecting off the water as well as fires by the boat slip at night, among the stars. The cottage was very spacious for 4 adults and we particularly loved the recliners in the living room. We had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen though we also took Don's advice of visiting some local restaurants, such as the Dutch Oven Bakery (which was fantastic). Don was also very helpful in getting us some firewood and starter liquid. All in all, we had a great time and found the cottage convenient to visit Mackinaw Island and Pictured Rocks in UP. Would stay again!

After enjoying our visit last year, we booked again during the local boat races and our stay did not disappoint. It’s a great location and the home is a priced right for what you get. Also, appreciate that there’s not a 1 week stay requirement. We plan to be back again!

Don’s place was very clean when we arrived with a great atmosphere. We brought our pontoon and the covered boat slip worked perfectly so we could leave our boat in the water. Would definitely stay here again!
